Summer Parking Lot Maintenance

June 24, 2024

Beginning Monday, June 24, various parking areas will be closed while maintenance crews repair and restripe parking space markings and colors. Parking lot repairs are conducted during the summer months when campus is less populated so that closures are less disruptive to the campus community. Additionally, scheduling parking lot maintenance during the summer ensures parking areas are ready for use prior to the start of the fall semester.

There will be parking configuration changes occurring in several parking lots and parking structures due to the significant number of construction projects affecting parking on campus. Although these changes are occurring in the upcoming weeks, please note that any parking space color changes will not be enforced until September 1, 2024. Students, faculty, and staff may continue to park in the same location where they have been parking through August 31, 2024, without upgrading their permit. Conducting parking configuration changes during the summer allows the campus community the chance to thoroughly review the modifications prior to investing in their parking permit for the following year.
